Slick and rich in a way, but refreshing, has loads of cherry and red apple flavours, some pear drop too. Licks at the palate with light, powdery tannins and yet has this oily thing going on. Feels like there’s a lot going on, and pleasure is easy too. I like this.

From one of the coolest dudes in the Yarra Valley comes one of the coolest wine labels going around. Smokestack Lightning - boom! 

 A skin contact Pinot Gris, this comes is a 500mL bottle. 

As with all Arfion wines, interest is abundant. Think aromas of dried red flowers, mandarin, blood orange and even apricot kernal. Wonderfully weighted with great flow through the mouth, skinsy feels are the driver behind a captivating texture. 100% whole bunches and wild ferment the key with 13 days on skins before being aged in old oak for 8 months where it went through full malo. Whispers of ginger and almond aren't far from the action - that fine spice just oozes delish. It's just edgy yet screams of charm. A fraction chalky, it's dry and long. Super flavoursome. Super tasty. Yes!
